Coronavirus Update

We want to re-assure our customers that we are amongst a fastener companies remaining open for business during the England wide ‘firebreak’ Covid-19 lockdown.

 

Running from Thursday 5 November to Wednesday 2 December 2020, the lockdown affects all of England and has been designed to regain control of coronavirus in the country.

 

Many fastener businesses around the world remained operational during the strict lockdown of early 2020.

 

As a supplier of fixings to critical national infrastructure projects including NHS Nightingale hospitals, prisons, power stations and public transport it is essential that we maintain the supply of our fixings to our customers. Yes, times are challenging, but follow the government restrictions and together we’ll get out of this pandemic quicker.

 

Since Covid-19 struck, we have supplied fasteners to a wide variety of applications, many medical (including defibrillators, ventilators and hospital beds), Formula 1 teams and bike share schemes, in addition to our many happy and loyal customers.

 

For those wishing to visit our trade counter, please note the following restrictions are in place:

  • A face covering must be worn at all times without exception. We have some people working in our offices and trade counters who would be considered high risk to the virus, and we want to keep them safe. If you do not have a covering, we can provide them at a cost of 50p each, or we can serve you from your car outside if you call us when you arrive.
     
  • Entrance to the main counter is currently limited and customers will be served via our window hatch at the front entrance. If there is a customer already waiting when you arrive, we ask you remain outside until they completed their transaction.
     
  • Where possible, please pre-order your items via our website. We will contact you as soon as your order is ready for collection to save on waiting times. If an item is urgent, please call our sales team on 0800 009 6949 and we will connfirm stock availability and arrange a time for you to collect.
     
  • Alternatively, please your order via our website and we will deliver to your door. Many items we list have a 3 day availability. These are items we do not keep on the shelf but order as required. However, during checkout there may still be an option for next day delivery as we have arranged delivery contracts with our suppliers for them to send items direct where available. The only addresses this will not be accepted to are those not on the UK Mainland, or building sites. The delivery addresses are required to be either residential or commercial property addresses.
